AHK – Centre for Urban Youth & Movement Culture
We are a facility for open youth work with a focus on urban youth and movement cultures (circus arts, climbing, skatepark, trial, and dirt biking). A lot of space, unusual equipment, and a multidisciplinary team make it possible to offer a wide range of open activities seven days a week, as well as many youth events. For many children, teenagers, and young adults in the region, the AHK (AbenteuerHallenKALK) is a place where they can develop their personality and learn social interaction. Openness, communication on equal terms, voluntary participation, shared decision-making, orientation towards young people’s everyday lives, space for self-expression, and a broad understanding of inclusion are central to all our activities.
